Tips & tricks for a super city supper with the kids
Make reservations; Palma is busy all year round – even if you are eating a few hours before the locals
Plan a playground stop; many of the above have space to play on-site or nearby, but wherever you eat in the city, there will be a playground nearby. Try Parc de Sa Feixina (between the old town & Santa Catalina) and enjoy a pre-dinner drink at Cafe Poupette while the kids play, or Parc de la Mar (old town) for seaside views beneath the Cathedral.
When the kids are ‘starrrrrving’ and simply can’t wait til dinner, pop into a local Forn (bakery) and let the kids choose a Mallorquin ‘Panades’ – small pastries filled with meat, peas and vegetables or a ‘Coca’, a Mallorquin style pizza.
