Lycee Francaise

Who -  just over 500 chidlren from the age of 2years through to 18yrs. The Lycée Français international de Palma welcomes children of all origins and cultures. The school is run just as it would be in France with French as the main teaching language.

What - We welcome children who do not speak French until 2nd ESO. A French as a Foreign Language (FLE) teacher helps them several hours a week during the first two years of their schooling. For primary and secondary school children, it is important that they adhere to the French schooling project and are motivated.

Students who complete their studies at the LFiP obtain two diplomas, the French Baccalaureate and the Spanish Baccalaureate Degree. In this way, they can access higher education in both countries, but also in other countries where their diplomas are recognized thanks to their language proficiency.

Why - Early language learning allows our students to be perfectly bilingual French-Spanish at the end of their schooling and to achieve excellent command of English and Catalan.

At the beginning of the 2021 school year, the LFiP has moved to a brand new school in the Sa Teulera neighborhood on a 5,000 m2 plot made available by the Palma City Council. This school has been built according to our specifications and will allow us to welcome new students in modern and welcoming facilities.
