Who - The Montessori School of Mallorca is an international private school offering nursery, primary and secondary education from 3 to 16 years in Mallorca, Spain. The school’s vision and outlook is international. English, Spanish and Catalan are languages of communication and teaching in the school. Our children and their families come from over 20 countries around the world

What - Operating as a British school abroad, we offer an alternative, private education for young people from 3 to 16 years. Teaching is based on the National curriculum in England and the Montessori curriculum. At age 16, our students pass the GCSE with Cambridge International and the Spanish ESO certification

Why - Montessori is an empirically proven education approach. It emphasizes independence, freedom within limits, and respect for a child’s natural development. It was developed by the physician and educator Maria Montessori. In Secondary education, we use an adopted, innovative learning style inspired by Montessori and following the English curriculum
