Family Friendly Vibe
Ciudad Jardin lies just east of the centre of Palma and its Blue Flag beach is backed by a promenade lined with palm trees, offering a good variety of different bars and restaurants. This spacious beach offers 450 metres of fine sand and is 35 metres deep. Alongside fantastic south-westerly views of the Bay and Palma, an adjacent promenade runs all the way into Palma’s city centre or further east to Arenal.
Beach Basics
Sun loungers and umbrellas are available to rent, and there are public showers and toilets. There is excellent wheelchair access, lifeguards on duty, and a sizeable playground nearby.
Family Fun
Whilst there aren’t any water sports available here, you’ll find several people roller blading/cycling/or touring on segways along the promenade behind the beach, and children playing in the playground.
Refuel
There are a number of restaurants and cafes along the seafront. One worth mentioning is the well-known The Bungalow located right on the beach itself serving delicious Mallorcan dishes and seafood. If you don't want to miss beach time, a few steps away there is a small supermarket which also sells fast food to take away such as hotdogs and french fries. If you need something refreshing head to La Boutique del Gelato for an icecream.
Access
With plenty of on street parking in the surrounding residential streets, this beach is very easy to get to. The main bus line from Palma towards the airport runs directly along the main road, just 500 metres above the beach. Pushchair and wheelchair access is easy.
