Green Valley School

Who - Green Valley School, and its sister nursery school, Happy Faces, teach some 300 children in English (as the first language), also learn Spanish (as the second language of the school)  and may choose as a third language  either Catalan, French, German or Swedish lessons, within the school timetable.

What - The school follows the British curriculum., and the students aim to take their IGCSE's when they are in Year 11. Green Valley School is also an authorized IB School that follows the IB Diploma Programme for the years 12 and 13 starting on September 2021.

Why - At Green Valley School we believe that it is very important that students learn study techniques that will help them to learn more effectively and in less time. Likewise, to ensure that what has been learned will be remembered and retained in the long term. Our secondary students have three hours of Independent Study a week during school hours to do their homework and to study by practicing concentration techniques, rapid reading, making mental maps and using effective methods to increase their memory, among others.
