Playa de S’Arenal (Portocolom)

Family Friendly Vibe: Located across the bay in Portocolom, on the way to the lighthouse, is Blue Flag awarded Platja de s’Arenal. A little over 100 metres long but perfectly formed and surrounded by nature, it's an idyllic spot with crystal clear water and fine white sand. A lifeguard is on duty throughout the high season.

Beach Basics: You can rent sun loungers and umbrellas. There are also public showers and toilets.

Family Fun: The calm turquoise waters are ideal for swimming and snorkelling. The sand is white and fine, perfect for sandcastles. You can also enjoy a short stroll to the Portocolom lighthouse.

Refuel: Beachside chiringuito S'Arenal serves up delicious meals, snacks and cocktails throughout the day.  It is popular, reservations recommended!

Access: A 2 km walk from the centre of Portocolom which is well connected via the TIB bus, or if driving head for the lighthouse and you will find this lovely beach and parking just before it.
